Scar Tissue - Anthony Kiedis

So I'm reading Scar Tissue- Anthony Kiedis Autobiography right, and here I am thinking that he had the perfect Hollywood lifestyle and everything, and I am totally... like... wowed by the truth in this book. I was like OMG at every page. It really made me sad. I mean, I was feeling sorry for him on the first couple of pages. I love Anthony, and if I ever see him EVER in my lifetime, I'm gonna go up to him and hug him.

I love this book. And I haven't even finished it yet. But I don't think my Pre Literature teacher would approve of me reading this. Ah well. She'll get over it. I LOVE THE BOOOOK. And no, Miss S, I am not reading Hardy and Dickens and other fancy authors. I'm reading SCAR TISSUE.

Love to all Red Hot Chili Peppers fans out there.

Lucky you guys to have lived through their era.

Some of us picked them up from 1996...

And I'm glad I did.

My Weekend

Ahh.

This weekend was so tiring.

THURSDAY:

Got up at 5:45 to catch the bus from school for the swimming carnival. Was all ready by 6:30, so I thought I would set off and walk. I thought it would take me 15 mins with two heavy bags, but NOOO. It had to take 5. I was there at 6:35 in the cold, and dark, waiting for people to arrive before 7. Loner much.

People never arrived until 6:55. Lucky me.

I came 3rd in Freestyle, with a 32.00 time. Not too bad. I haven't swum competitively in 3 years. Swum at all more like.

I came 2nd in backstroke with a... 36.00 time? That's not too bad either.

Later on, I got dropped off back at school, and caught another bus to Music Camp. So... intersting.

We got there and we had to write our name tags, and draw our river of life? All in our non writing hands. SO tiring. We ended up staying up late, until about 12pm, and had uncooked pasta for dinner. Good times.

FRIDAY:

We got up, had showers and had an interesting brekky.

We had lots of time to practise music all day for the concert.

Mr Mime dude came in and taught us to do the robot and "I am in a box."

Pretty fun stuff. He liked us. We had to learn how to look through people. I sucked at that. Lol Emily.

Yeah.

Ate dinner on the verandah thingy, and people jumped in the pool.

Went to bed at like... 3am, because of TRUTH OR DARE.

Ended up being just truth at the end. And it was a little X rated. Haha.

SATURDAY:

Again, got up. All dressed and ready.

Had a nice little brekky and biscuits. All packed up and ready to leave Gigamarup whatever it was called.

Relay for life was next. Argh.

RUNNING AROUND ALL FRIEKING DAY. A little tiring it was.

Had many hot chocolates and teas. And a sausage sizzle.

Kimmy's belly ring fell out and it healed over. We had to likie... repearce it. She went all in shock and we had to take her to St John of God ambulance thingy. Went home. Lol.

It was like... Sarah and Connie the whole night. The Wesley dudes were hot though. They were a litle showy off though. But still hot.

Got three hours sleep. Had like... a 1:30am shift haha. Ah well.

SUNDAY:

Watched a carrot mascot get kicked in the nuts. Pretty funny, as the dude inside it was a Wesley.

I think I got that on camera.

Another one happened too. I think it was a rabbit that got kicked?

Sarah and I watched the whole thing. Ah well. Poor dudes.

Daylight savings finally over. We had two 2 o'clocks in the morning. How... annoying.

Well yeah. That's my weekend.

My legs are like TANK.

I did like... over 10 hours of walking.

So yeah.

Off school today haha.

Who has ever heard of an Easter Tuesday??

Seriously.

But lucky me, I had Friday off, and Monday and Tuesday. Most boring weekend of my life.

And dad has gone away for three weeks to drill holes for dynamite in the mines,

More work for poor old Connie.

Not like I don't do enough anyway.

Like I am on here typing this when I could be doing the washing, or doing the dishes.

Ah well.

Happy Easter!

The Truth about Lynx

The truth about Lynx.

A snippet from our entry to the Buy My Duck competition in 2007.

Oh and no feelings were hurt during the making of this film.
